Plein Air Artist, Activist & Environmentalist

I am a Filipina Plein Air artist, activist, and environmentalist based in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in a neighborhood in Long Beach heavily impacted by air pollution and port activity, my curiosity for the environment grew from a lack of access to green space. I found myself astounded by nature’s beauty and the ability to document this beauty through art. Having completed my Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science at UCLA, I integrate my passions for environmental justice and naturalism in my work.

I specialize in traditional landscape painting, ink drawing, and digital illustration. My work has been used for community campaigns, magazines, editorial pieces, music albums, and arts activism projects. The guiding goals of my art are to amplify outdoor protection and access, highlight stories of resistance movements for environmental and social change, emphasize the importance of mental health and wellbeing, and promote climate justice solutions within my community.
